I can't believe that 18 years ago, this sweet girl was a premie at St. Lukes. She weighed 4 lbs 12 oz. She got really sick and developed a deadly diseases called NEC. She dropped to 3 1/2 pounds and then I was told I couldn't hold her anymore because she was losing calories. She had surgery to fix her intestines and came out stronger than ever. Fast forward 18 years. Tears stream down my face as I look back on all that she has become...even in the face of adversity. She is compassionate....loving....caring....giving.....and beautiful. What more could a mother ask for? I love you Hannah Rachael Gropp. I couldn't be more proud. Love Mom.
