Oh what a night

A few months back my husband surprised me with 3 tickets to go and see Trans Siberian Orchestra. He always buys 3 tickets so that he doesn't have to go. This way I can take a couple of friends and he doesn't have to feel bad about not liking my insane passion for things like Cirque de Soile, Riverdance, Lord of the dance and other amazing performances. I asked a couple of gals that I haven't gotten to catch up with in a while and I was so glad that they wanted to take this adventure with me. So I pick up Lissa Hall and Dana Severts and we were off. We went to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Barbacoa, to have some amazing food. Barbacoa is dimly lit and all three of us found it hard to see the menu (thats our excuse). Dana pulled out her reading glasses only to find that one of her lenses was gone. Reading with one lens is very difficult so we asked our server Casey if he had any spare spectacles. He promptly went to the front and found a pair so that we could order. When we finished we drove out to the Idaho Center. Parking was terrible. I drove around and finally found an "end spot" that I could slide into. We got out in a hurry so that no one could tell me that I couldn't park there. We went in and found we were seated on the floor toward the back. We got there just in time....the concert was beginning. The lady that sat in front of Dana had to been over six feet tall. We didn't know until later that this would be a nice block from the eye blinding lights. I really liked the concert. The music was a bit loud and the lights (because of where we were sitting) were a bit blinding. This is a concert that I am glad that I went to....but I might not do it again. But the one thing that I am grateful for is....the love of my friends! Thanks Lissa and Dana...Love you!
